چکیده مقاله:

Background: The aim of this study was determining the relationship between married women'ssexual self-concept and their husbands' substance abuse and smokingMethods: During a cross-sectional study, ۴۰۰ married women who referred to medical healthcenters covered by Tehran University of Medical Sciences were included in the study by clusterrandom sampling. They completed the demographic and sexual self-concept questionnaire(MSSCQ). ۳۶۵ questionnaires were analyzed in SPSS۱۶ software with descriptive and inferentialtests.Results: The result of analysis of variance showed that there is a significant relationship betweensubstance abuse, smoking and negative sexual self-concept and the position of wives(P<۰.۰۰۰۱and P<۰.۰۱۶).Conclusion: According to the results obtained in this study, there is a significant relationshipbetween the abuse of addictive substances and negative sexual self-concept. If the spouse isaddicted to drugs, married women will not have a good impression and feeling towards theirspouse
