Background: Childbirth is one of the most important health services in all societies. Changes that occur for mothers after childbirth can affect the quality and desirability of women's lives.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the desirability of natural delivery and caesarean section with the decision tree model.methods: In this research, the desirability of ۶۴۴ women after natural delivery (۳۱۷ people) and cesarean delivery (۳۲۷ people) in Zahedan city was evaluated and compared. The desirability was checked with a questionnaire that was translated and re-translated by the researcher. The validity of the mentioned questionnaire was confirmed by ۱۲ faculty members of the universities and the reliability of the questionnaire was also confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test (۰.۹۶).Results: The findings of the research showed the desirability of the natural birth group (average desirability in the visual scale (۸۶.۹۱) and desirability in the descriptive scale (۱۱۱۱۱)) compared to the cesarean group (average desirability in the visual scale (۶۴.۱۶) and The average desirability in the descriptive scale (۲۲۲۳۳)) had a higher desirability (p<۰.۰۵).Conclusion: Given that labor and birth is one of the most important experiences of every family and one of the most sensitive services of the health-treatment system of all societies. And many complications have been seen after cesarean section for mothers, so appropriate strategies should be implemented in Iran regarding the increase of natural childbirth and the reduction of cesarean section, which leads to more favorable outcomes for mothers after childbirth.
