Listening Strategies

The current study is examining the strategies for listening skill. We have top-down and bottom-upprocessing in this skill. For comprehending the listening skill, there are ۳ phases: Perception, parsing andutilization. Three sequences are existed in listening: pre listening, while listening and post listening. In thisskill, there are substantial instructions which falls into text oriented, communication oriented, and learneroriented. Strategies in listening contains cognitive, metacognitive and socio affective.
