Training and improving of problem solving skill in students can lead to the development of desirable coping capabilities in times of crisis and life challenges. According to essential and effect of this training, in the present study, the effectiveness of social problem solving skill training on the resilience of high school female students was investigated. The research was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all female students of the second year of Shabestar secondary school in the academic year of ۲۰۲۰-۲۱(N= ۲۰۸۱), which ۳۰ were selected by purposive sampling method based on the inclusion criteria, which obtained the lowest Scores were selected in questionnaire and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (n=۱۵ in each group). Then, during ۸ sessions (۹۰ minutes each session), the experimental group was trained in social problem solving skill, but the control group did not receive any training. At the end of the training sessions, the subjects of both groups were tested again in terms of the dependent variable as a post-test. Connor and Davidson Resilience Questionnaire (۲۰۰۳) was used to collect data. In order to analyze the data, multivariate analysis of covariance was used with SPSS software version ۲۴. Findings showed that social problem solving skill training improves and enhances the level of resilience of students (P <۰.۰۵). In general, it can be said that in order to change and improve students' resilience, social problem solving skill training should be a priority in school curricula.
