چکیده مقاله:
The aim of this study was to compare the effect of acute consumption of energy drink and grape juice solution on anaerobic performance indices in elite adolescent karate athletes. The present study is a controlled randomized controlled trial. ۱۰ elite boys with black belts and a provincial and national championship in Zanjan (with an average age of ۱۳.۴۰ ۱ ۱.۴۰ years, weight ۵۲.۷۶ کیل ۷.۷۹ kg and height ۱۶۰.۹۵ ۲۷ ۵.۲۷ Cm) were selected through available sampling and participated in the test. And the research design was presented as a cross-sectional double-sided crossover in three stages with one week interval of the desired supplements (grape juice solution, energy drink and placebo (saccharin due to its sweetness)) during which the subjects each week, RAST maximal anaerobicity test was performed once to measure the indicators of anaerobic power peak, mean anaerobic power and fatigue index. To compare the results of the research, SPSS software version ۲۲ and paired t-tests, repeated measures analysis of variance test and repeated measures post hoc test were used. The results showed that consumption of grape juice significantly increases the peak of anaerobic power and the average anaerobic power of athletes (P-value <۰.۰۵). Also, the use of energy drinks has a positive effect on peak power and average anaerobic power (P-value <۰.۰۵). Grape juice solution reduces the fatigue index of athletes, but this effect is not statistically significant. Energy drinks do not have a significant effect on athletes fatigue index. Also, the effect of grape juice on the peak of anaerobic power and average anaerobic power is more than energy drink (P-value <۰.۰۵).According to the research findings, it can be said that the effect of acute consumption of grape juice on anaerobic performance of karate athletes is more than energy drinks, but explicit comments about possible mechanisms of this difference need more research.
