چکیده مقاله:

Sleep is one of the most important physiological conditions that has very important effects on physical and mental health. Low Back pain as one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders in today s society ,both athletes and non-athletes,wich has a great effect on this important physiological factor. the aim of this study is the sleep disturbances in people with chronic low back pain Based on degree of severity. In the present descriptive study, ۳۰ persons with non-specific chronic low back pain (۱۵ males (mean age of ۴۱.۹۳) and ۱۵ females (mean age of ۴۵.۰۷)) whit Purposive sampling. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality index (PSQI) and the Functional Disability Questionnaire (oswestry) were assessed. Data analysis was performed by cross tabulation method (SPSS version۲۶ ). Based on the findings of the present study, according to the functional disability questionnaire, ۱۱ people had low-severity disability, ۱۸ people had moderate- severity disability and ۱ person had high-severity disability. Among people with low severity disability, ۳۹% had good sleep quality, ۴۷% had moderate sleep quality and ۱۴% had bad sleep quality and people with moderate severity disability, ۲۸.۵% had good sleep quality, ۴۳% had moderate sleep quality and ۲۸.۵% had poor sleep quality. Also, the subject with severe disability had moderate sleep quality. The results of this study showed that in people with non-specific chronic low back pain, there was no sleep quality disorder associated with different degrees of functional disability. And chronic back pain is not a factor affecting the sleep of people with this complication.
