چکیده مقاله:

One of the most common problems in most people behind the computer is a common disorder called FHP Forward head posture. In this anomaly, the head is placed in front of the neck, so a lot of pressure is put on the temporomandibular joints and the joints of the neck and the muscles behind the neck. The aim of this study was the effect of comprehensive corrective exercises with and without posture training on forward head posture (FHP) in female students. The present study was a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test. ۲۴ female students in age range of ۱۵ to ۱۸ years, were randomly divided into three groups of comprehensive corrective exercises with postural training, comprehensive corrective exercises alone and control group. Screening was performed in the first stage using the New York test and a checkerboard, and students were identified as having a forward head posture complication. The group of comprehensive corrective exercises with postural training participated in ۸ weeks and ۵ sessions per week for ۵ hours and the group of comprehensive corrective exercises alone participated in ۸ weeks and ۳ sessions per week for three hours. Also control group did not receive any intervention. Paired t-test and analysis of covariance were used to analyze the data at a significance level of ۰.۰۵.The results showed that comprehensive corrective exercises with postural training and comprehensive corrective exercises alone significantly reduced the head forward angle (p≤۰/۰۵). The results also showed that there is a significant difference between the two groups of comprehensive corrective exercises with postural training and comprehensive corrective exercises alone (p≤۰/۰۵).According to the results of the present study, specialists can use these exercises along with other treatment methods to correct the forward head posture in students. Also, due to the significant difference between comprehensive exercises with postural training and comprehensive exercises alone, the postural training method can be used along with other treatment protocols.
