چکیده مقاله:
Unification and system integration in all the IoT applications is of great importance nowadays. Smart university as well as the smart city, requires an integrated infrastructure and unified management. Although smart university is frequently used as an advanced concept in many literatures, there is still no unique comprehensive definition to cover all aspects of this application regarding services, and strategy simultaneously. This paper outlines a comprehensive and practical overview of a smart university definition by analyzing recent studies based on four viewpoints of services and system, process, data cycle, and strategy. First of all, with classifying different university general services based on their activity fields, a list of practical, smart, and high-level services is presented which can be used in a smart university. Then, integration and consolidation of classified groups to unify the primary services and smart services is investigated.
