HYDROCARBON RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION WITH AN EXPERIMENTALEQUATION

This research intends to introduce al mathematical equation as a forward model to estimate porosity values of a sandstone reservoir from seismic attributes. The used data sets are stacked and migrated ۳d seismic data of a gas reservoir in F۳ block of North Sea. The objective of this work is to implement and experirMEntal equation to TRANSFOM data (similarity) to a model parameter (porosity). This equation which is an experiinental model has unknown constants in its structure, hence singular value decomposition solution is applied to find the best constant values. The obtained results indicate that the developed equation could provide initial information about sandstone reservoir.
