Use of solar energy in urban management and planning

As time goes on and the population increases, the amount of energy consumption increases day by day. Since the energies and resources on the planet are limited and their excessive consumption endangers future generations, we must move towards the use of renewable energy. One of the most abundant renewable energy sources on earth is solar energy. In the field of design, planning and urban management, using creative and innovative methods, this energy can be used. Therefore, in this study, we decided to investigate the use of solar energy in urban management and planning. Finally, after reviewing, we concluded that it has been established that the air conditioning market is currently in an unsustainable situation and solar cooling technologies are emerging. Several research projects and experimental demonstrations presented in this study over the years demonstrate the opportunities that solar energy presents to the air conditioning industry. It can be extracted that by coupling natural sunlight to heat, cool and ventilate building, organizations can reap substantial energy cost savings.
