چکیده مقاله:
Chocolate is one of the most widely consumed foodstuffs that has been used around the world for hundreds of years. Chocolate is made of cocoa and this popular and energetic snack is very attractive in the world. Almost everyone like its unique taste. Chocolate is used in various food industries such as confectionery, ice cream and beverages, syrups, flavorings. Also this delicious food stuff has some beneficial health effects and some studies have confirmed these effects. Although chocolate consumption has been associated with enjoyment and pleasure, it has some positive effects on our health such as: reduction the risk of some diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cognitive decline as well as having antidepressant effect and being a source of vitamin D۲. This article provides information about chocolate and its health effects on human beings.
