PARTICIPATORY APPROACH AS TOOL OF DEVELOPMENT:IN THE CASE OF WATER SECTOR PROGRAMS

Participatory approach as tool of development has been recognized all over the world: specially an essential tool in the third world countries developmental programs. Like other approaches Participatory approach has been also adopted by the government in the water sector programs as the way to determine public needs, priorities and convey them program designers, decision makers. The main theme of this paper is to examine how the participatory approach can be termed as an essential tool of development in the water sector programs
