چکیده مقاله:

Objectives: Two different imported and domestic made commercial toxin binders were evaluated for their efficiency in reduction of aflatoxin’s adverse effect on broiler chicken. Materials & Methods: Three hundred and sixty male day-old broiler chicks were randomly distributed into six treatments. Each treatment was further divided into six replicates consisting of ۱۰ chicks. Aflatoxin (۲۰۰ ppb) was added to the feed of all groups except for negative control. Treatment groups were negative control (A), positive control (B) without binders, treatment (C) with ۲.۵ kg/ton imported toxin binder, treatment (D)with ۵ kg/ton imported toxin binder, treatment (E) with ۲.۵ kg/ton internal toxin binder, treatment (F) with ۵ kg/ton internal toxin binder. Results & Conclusion: Feed intake and feed efficiency were affected by aflatoxin during the first ten-day of rearing, but this effect has not seen in day ۲۱ of production. Regarding the relative weight of internal organs, only the weight bursa of Fabricious was significantly higher in groups with toxin binders. Relative weight of liver, spleen and heart did not show significant difference between groups. Both toxin binders effectively reduced Gammaglutamyl transferase (GGT) serum activity. Evaluating the other biochemical parameters including serum total protein, alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase and creatine phosphokinase activity, no significant differences were revealed in treatment groups. There was no significant difference between groups, regarding haemagglutination inhibition (HI) titer against Newcastle disease vaccine. It was concluded that both domestic and imported toxin binders had the same efficiency in reduction of aflatoxin adverse effects in broilers.
