چکیده مقاله:

Background: Neonatal calf diarrhea (NCD) causes significant econommic losses due to mortality, poor growth, and costs of medication in dairy and beef herds worldwide. This study ws dedicated to vaccino- informatic study of BCoV by Centralized sequence (CS) bioinformatics methods. Method: The study was followed by statistical analysis, registering and BLASTing nucleotide sequences, nucleotide and protein phylogenetic trees construction, and finding centralized sequence for vaccine strains by center of tree (COT) and COBRA (a computationally optimized broadly reactive antigen) methods. Results: BLAST and phylogenetic tree construction revealed that most similar sequences to Iranian BCoV sequence were for European countries including Denmark, Italy, France, and Sweden. Furthermore, strong correlations to other coronaviruses in human and different wild and domesticated animals were observed. As BCoV has variable COT, most recent strains and COBRA vaccine strains were successfully obtained and Europe sequences (especially France and Denmark) could be good choices for Global vaccine by COBRA method.Discussions: COBRA vaccine gives new hope in how to select the most appropriate sequence as vaccine strain with high coverage and immunogenicity characteristics.
