چکیده مقاله:

This study aims to recognize the immorality of academic mobbing in universities and to investigate the consequences and the people involved, including the victims, perpetrators, and probable observers of this phenomenon. In this regard, all articles on academic mobbing were studied, and the results of research by various researchers around the world in terms of consequences, victims, and perpetrators of this phenomenon were determined in historical order. The purpose of this study is to familiarize academics with the various dimensions of academic mobbing and the people involved in it, and, as a result, more academics can identify, prevent, and deal with it. The present study is descriptive and library-based research, which is presented by reviewing the results of previous related theoretical and field research. This study showed that everyone in the academic community (including professors, faculty members, group leaders, and even students) is likely to be in one of the three positions of victim, perpetrator, and observer. Of course, in all cases, students will always be affected by the destructive consequences of this phenomenon due to less power. Academic mobbing has psychological and physical consequences for the victim and the supervisor, as well as devastating consequences for all individuals on campus, including reduced job satisfaction, reduced creativity, reduced commitment to work and university, leaving work, and losing Key staff, the cost of treating injured people or complaining about the university, as well as tarnishing the public image of the university in the community.
