چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

The land under sunflower cultivation has been reduced due to low seed yield during recent years. Sunflower grow as a spring planting in drylands of cold and semi-cold areas of Iran but in these areas due to limitation and distribution of rain sunflower flowering and seed filling face to serious drought stress. To produce drought tolerant lines of sunflower attempts started in 1996 and led to select S6 inbred lines. The general combining ability (GCA) of these inbred lines determined then synthetics varieties provided.. In this study to evaluate the 36 synthetics varieties and 44 inbred lines and also one open pollinated variety (Armaviresky) planted in 2 rows with 4 meter length and 60 cm row spaceing in Sararood Agricultural Research Station. Genotypes planted in 99ا square lattice design with two replications under two different water condition viz., rainfed and with supplementary irrigation. Some agronomic triats recorded during growth season then after harvesting seed wieght and seed and oil yield calculated. The results showed that mean of stem diameter, plant height, head diameter, number of leaves per plant, seed weight and seed yield were higher in inbred lines compare to synthetics under rainfed condition reviled that inbred lines well selected for water stress condition. Also the results showed that mean of seed yield and most of other agronomic traits in synthetics varieties were higher or atleast equale to inbred lines under supplementary irrigation. In general, according to both water conditions 17 synthetics varieties and 22 inbred lines has been selected. These genotypes will increase in next year and evaluated in different locations to determine the the preliminary adaptation.
