چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

‭Plant breeders usually faced to GXE interaction in their studies on crop varieties in multilocation trials (METs). This study was carried out to delermine the yield performance and adaptability of 10 lentil genotypes across four stations (Kurdistan, Maragheh, Zandjan and Ardebil) of west Iran, in the three successive growing seasons (2001-03). The experimental layout was a randomized complete block design with four replication. After homogeneity test for error variances , combined analysis of variance was done. F-test of sources of variation revealed that effect of variety ‬چ ‭location and variety ‬چ ‭year ‬چ ‭location were significant (P<0.01). According to the method of Eberhart and Russel (1966) all genotypes unless ILL 7523, FLIP 82-IL and FLIP 92 12L were stable. Based on the Shukla (1972) and Wricke (1962) indices only genotypes ILL 6002, ILL 6030 and ILL 6206 and based on C.V., the high yielding genotype FLIP 92-12L were determined as stable genotypes. Additive main effects and multiplicative interactions analysis (AMMI) indicated that the yield performances of genotypes were under the major environmental effects of genotype by environment interactions. The first two principal component axes (PCAL and 2) were significant (P<0.01) and Cumulatively contributed to of the genotype by environment interaction. A biplot generated using genotypic and environmental scores of the first tow AMMI components also showed that genotypes with lower PCAL and higher PCA2 scores gave high yields (stable genotypes:Gachsaron ILL 6212, FLIP 82-IL and FLIP 92-12L), as in the sites tested.‬
