In reason of water available limitation, and population increasing, water will be the main challenge of many countries such as Iran, and food production is going to be related to the amount and stability of water resources. Drought tolerant genotypes selection is one of the most important strategies to reduce grain yield reduction in response to water limitation stress. In order to study the adaptation and evaluation of 15 wheat lines, selected from ARWYT and Chamran cultivar as the check, this research was conducted in four stations including Ahvaz, Dezfoul, Zabol and Darab, in 2008-09 and 2009-10, in two separated experiments( well-watered and terminal drought stress), using complete randomized block design with three replications. Genotypes were selected based on data analyses of variance, grain yield ratio to ground mean and some agronomical traits. Lines No. 2,6,10, 14 and 15 with 6754,6136,6152,6153 and 6132 Kg/ha and Lines No. 2,3,14,15 and 16 with 4437,4708,4415,4512,4538 and 4483 Kg/ha were evaluated as the higher grain yielding genotypes under well-watered and terminal drought stress conditions respectively . According to grin yield of lines No. 14 an15, these two lines were introduced as the higher adapted genotypes.
