بررسی مطالعه خواص مهندسی چوب های ایران (خواص مهم فیزیکی و مکانیکی)

The purpose of this research was providing of mechanical properties of Iranian commercial woods ( Fagus orintalis Lipsky, Carpinus betulus L., Quercus castanefolia C.A. Mey, Acer insine Boiss, Alnus glutinosa, Diospyros lotus L.,Surbus torminalis, Populus caspica, Tilia begonifolia, Ulmus carpinifolia, Platanus orientalis L., Cupressus sempervirens, Pinus eldarica and Pinus teda ) in different Location of Caspian Forests (North of Iran). To determine major engineering properties of Iranian Commercial woods adopting to ASTM (D-143) standard specification, specimens were prepared. The test materials were derived from randomly chosen trees at 3 different hight level location. Mechanical properties including Static bending, Compression parallel to grain, Compression perpendicular, Shear Strength, Hardness, cleavage, Lateral nail resistance and Impact bending, and physical properties including specific gravity, swelling and shrinkage were measured on two moisture level: green and air-dried ( 12% moisture content) were tested. The influence of locations of specimens in height of tree trunks and geographical directions were also tested on target properties. Details and achived reslts are mentioned in the tsxt.
