In order to determination of suitable drought tolerance indices and recognition tolerant wheat genotypes with high yield in dryland and supplemental irrigation conditions, two experiments was performed in the layout of completely randomized design in dry land and supplemental irrigation conditions, with four replications in two years in Gachsaran Dryland Agricultural Research Station(GDARS) in 2007- 2009. Five drought resistance indices include MP, GMP, TOL, SSI and STI were assessed on the basis of grain yield in dryland and supplemental irrigation conditions. Stress intensity for first year was low (SI=0.336) while was high (SI=0.604) for second year. According to results of correlation between drought resistance indices and grain yield in dryland and supplemental irrigation conditions, indices of MP, GMP and STI were recognized as the best indices for selection of genotypes with high potential yield in dryland and supplemental irrigation conditions because of high correlation with grain yield in both environments. Based on the bi-plot graph, genotypes number 1, 4, 3 and 18 in first year and genotypes number 1, 4 and 3 were located in potential, stability yield and drought tolerance region and they were recognized as tolerant genotypes with high yield in dryland and supplemental irrigation conditions. Results of cluster analysis confirmed the results of bi-plot and above genotypes together were located in same group.
