With consideration to different characters of barley varieties influence the yield, adaptation with agricultural environment and yield quality. Characters are controloed by genes. Best varieties can be selected by producing genetic diversity and hybrids with different characters. So, selection of materials in separation step is an important stage in barley breeding and appropriate help us in the way of achieving to high yielding varieties and appropriate to ecological conditions. Therefore, this experiment becomes more important. Character separation in hybrids starts from F2 race and continues until some races. In this stage, different compositions appear between parents characters. After studying all plants I different stage of growth, we selected that plants which are high yielding and don t, have disorders and deficiency. In this study, we used "modified bulk method" and "pedigree", were used 45 numbers of F2 generation (from Karaj) and 58 numbers of F3, F4 generations (49 numbers of F3 and 9 numbers of F4) and 86 single plants in F5, F6 and F7 generations were evaluated, that in F2, F3 masses, from each mass 20-30 desirable spike were selected and their seeds for future evaluations bulked and in next generations, selection was in the pedigree method. Planting was each mass of F2 in six rows on 20 meters and F3, F4 in six rows on 10 meters and F5, F6 in six rows on 2.5 meters. In this evaluation 19 numbers of F2 generation, 13 numbers of F3 and 26 desirable single plant of F4, 8 numbers of F5 and 15 numbers of F6 generations were selected and were numbered for studying in the 2010-2011 cropping year. 21 number of selected pure lines of F5-Fn generations in 2009-2010 cropping year that have desirable culture traits, were selected and sent to Karaj for testing in NPBL-C.
