Identification, distribution and biology of Blennidae from Chabahar bay as an ornamental fish

Identification, distribution and biology of ornamental fishes of Chabahar bay wereinvestigated in two stations and during two successive years. To this end, varioussampling methods including catch by net and diver observations were used. Amongsampled fishes, Blennidae family were investigated. This family belong to Perciformorder that includes beautiful and wonderful species. Totally, 6 genus and 10 speciesof this family were identified that Istiblennius pox and Istiblennius spilotus and alsoEcsenius pulcher had highest and lowest distribution respectively. Also, the most fishdensity was observed in station 1. With regard to economical values of these species,their fishing and propagation can help to economy of local people of this region.
