چکیده مقاله Length-weight relationship and condition factor of Common goldfish(Cyprinidae: Carassius auratus), in Karkheh River of Andimeshk

To investigation the length-weight relationships of common goldfish, in total 167specimens were caught by gill net and cast net with 25-55 mm, mesh size in Augustand September 2008 from the Karkheh River of Andimeshk. Total length and weightof specimens were measured to the nearest 1 mm and g, respectively. Average totallength and weight were 261.545 ± 56.835 (SD) mm and 294.667 ± 125.055 (SD) g,respectively. The relationship between total length and weight of all fish was LogW=-1.90+3.32LogL, the correlation was 92% and b value indicated a positive allometricgrowth pattern. The value of condition factor according to the slope of the regressionline for all fish was 0.96(0.89-1.21) showed a minor differences with previous studiesin other areas.
