آقای دکتر افشین رشید متولد ۱۶ فروردین ۱۳۶۸ در تهران ، اُستادیار (گروه برق _ اَفزاره های میکرو و نانو اِلکترونیک) عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد علوم و تحقیقات تهران میباشد ؛ دارای ۲۱ مقاله کنفرانسی در داخل کشور و بیش از 274 مقاله ISI در مجلات و ژورنال های بین المللی خارج از کشور هستند. مقالات منتشر شده ایشان بیشتر در موضوعات تخصصی نانو الکترونیک ، نانو ترانزیستور ها ، نانو تراشه های الکتریکی ، نانو سیم های الکترونیکی و اَفزاره های میکرو و نانو اِلکترونیک تهیه شده است.همچنین ایشان در سال 2023 عنوان "دانشمند دو درصد برتر جهان" از نگاه موسسه انتشارات الزویر (Elsevier) را کسب کرده اند.ایشان یکی از شخصیت های ممتاز و ارزشمند علمی " ایران و جهان " میباشند و بیشترین آمار ارجاع مقالات علمی را میان دانشمندان ایرانی در حوزه " اَفزاره های میکرو و نانو اِلکترونیک " را در سطح بین المللی به خود اختصاص داده است.
