Introduction: Breast milk is known to be the most complete and best source of nutrition for infants, with excellent results in infancy as well as adulthood. Increased breastfeeding rates are a concern in all countries. Many factors can affect the success and duration of breastfeeding. Psychological support has been identified as a factor for success and continued breastfeeding, therefore the role of fathers education and support in this important issue can be crucial. Methods: In this article summary, to investigate The effect of fathers training on the success and duration of breastfeeding, the most recent articles in this field have been studied in valid databases such as PubMed, Elsevier and google scholar. Results: Research has shown that training fathers to participate in and support breastfeeding increases the likelihood of exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months of birth, reduces breastfeeding problems, increases mothers desire and interest in breastfeeding. Conclusion: Given the importance of breastfeeding and the role of fathers in shaping and continuing this important issue, the simultaneous training of fathers and mothers in breastfeeding can be quite effective and practical in achieving this goal.
