چکیده مقاله:
The use of an inorganic phase in water- in- oil- microemulsions (w/o) has received considerable attention for preparing platinum nanoparticles. This is a new technique, which allows preparation of ultra fine platinum particles within the size range 3nm < Particle diameter < 50nm.In this work, platinum nanoparticles was prepared using a microemulsion of water-Np10-cyclohexane. Effects of stabilizer (emulsifier) type, concentration of platinum, type of continuous phase and reducing agent are investigated. These results indicate that the nature of the stabilizer emulsifier and mol ratio of water/surfactant play decisive role on the particle size and distribution of platinum nanoparticles during the preparation. The synthesized platinum nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). TEM Shows the Pt nonoparticles have a narrow size distribution and 3-4nm average diameter size. The platinum nanoparticles were highly dispersed on alumina support. Catalytic investigation of these samples showed high activity for catalytic reforming process.
