ANALYSIS OF WAVES PROCESSES IN ELECTRICAL MACHINES BY TRANSMISSION LINES MODEL

The mathematical model and numerical solutions of the wave events occurred by the inner and outer factors in the windings of the electrical machines are investigated. Each of the stator and the rotor windings is chosen as a section of the distributed parameters. Changes of the wave parameters of the windings according to the wave frequency about the geometry of the slot regions and the change of the magnetic system parameters. The outer and inner waves act on machine windings are considered as an exponential function. This function is considered as superposition of the incident and reflecting waves. The evolution wave equation, second order hyperbolic type partial differential equation is solved numerically by the finite difference method. A stability analysis of the scheme is also performed. The changes of the voltage and current waves in the windings in the transient events are investigated numerically and analytically.
