On the existence of positive solution for nonlinear integral equation of mixed type

The existence of positive solution for some nonlinear integral equations have been studied [4-8]. The main tool utilized in our considerations is the technique associated with certain measure of noncompactness. The results obtained in the paper may be applied to a wide class of functional Volterra-Fredholm integral equations.
