This research first focuses on the history of nanotechnology, a precise history can not be defined for the emergence of nanotechnology. The advent nanotechnology is not going to take much time to expand engineering. The first studies on nanotechnology in the building industry dates back to the 1990s. today, recognizing and identifying new nanotechnology applications, technology has started to make a different look at the world of architecture. and as familiarity and introduction of nanotechnology has been investigated and then we look at the evolution of materials and construction in the following, we introduce a variety of nanomaterials used in the glass industry andintroduced products and its advantages and disadvantages. Anti-reflection glasses, when the waves reach the surface, are split into three categories, depending on the transparency and surface features. Some of the waves pass through and pass through the body, another part is absorbed and some of the waves are also reflected from the surface. In some architectural applications, the reflection of light from the glass is considered undesirable and reduces the aesthetic quality and thermal comfort of space. The passage of light through a transparent object such as glass or plastic, which reflects part of the light, reflects itself by the amount of reflected light. At best, the glass allows a maximum of 90% of reflected light to pass. This phenomenon occurs due to the difference in broken coefficients between glass and air, so the most important factor in this phenomenon is the refractive index of the environments. our next glass is sunscreen. The first examples of sunscreen glasses are photochemical glasses that darken when exposed to sunlight and prevent visual disturbance. The concept of sunscreen in the building, means that these glasses can prevent the absorption of undesirable heat from radiation from sunlight. Fireproof glass is another nanotechnology in the glass industry that is resistant to fire and replaces pollutants. Using nanoparticles, fire-retardant glasses can be created which, by heat, from a sponge-like coating that provides better protection against fire. Nanotechnology offers many ways to improve the properties of the surface of the building, both in terms of performance and beauty. Self-cleaning surfaces against water and dust particles with a relatively high variation and adjustable range, including hydrophilic surfaces and hydrofoil levels. About a third of the energy of a building is wasted through windows. For this reason, efforts have been focused on reducing energy consumption in buildings on windows. Many studies have been conducted to find energy storage methods and the need for energy storage has led to the emergence of new types of glass windows in buildings also in conference room walls in offices. The research concludes use of nanomaterials in building will bring many benefits, including the most important energy savings in buildings. Windows and openings are the most important part of buildings that have a high percentage of energy, the use of a new generation of self cleaning and easily cleaned glasses, especially in high-rise buildings, has reducedeconomic costs and saved time.
