Design of Car Engine Diagnosis Fuzzy Expert System and its Hardware Implementation

This research aims to establish an expert decision-making system based on fuzzy theory and combine with the characteristics of multi-level inference achieve a more comprehensive omen diagnosis of a vehicle engine. First of all by the use of five internal car engine sensors, and Arduino as a logger a database comprises of MAP, mass flow, oxygen, throttle position and crankshaft position sensor is constructed. Based on this, fuzzy theory is used to integrate the expert knowledge and a complex failure decision-making system according to the sensors value is designed.
