Investigated the Optical Properties of CdTe and CdSe Nanolayers

We have investigated the optical properties of CdTe and CdSe nanolayers and bulk. The real and imaginary parts of dielectric function, reflectivity spectra, refraction index, absorption and extinction coefficient are calculated. The calculated results show that the real and imaginary part of dielectric functional for CdTe and CdSe nanolayers are smaller than corresponding values in CdTe and CdSe bulk. The reflectivity spectra, refraction index, absorption and extinction coefficient of CdTe and CdSe nanolayers are smaller than corresponding results in CdTe and CdSe bulk
