In this work, a batch Chemiluminescence (CL) method has been proposed for the determination of Thebaine. In this method Rhodamin 6G was used as an CL enhancer and acidic Ce (IV) was used as oxidizing agent. Following the optimization of chemical variations, calibration curve was linear over the range 1.0×10-5-2.0×10-4 mol L-1. The limit of detection was calculated 4.0×10-6 mol L-1(1.34μg mL-1) and the percent of relative standard deviation was 8.0 % for concentration 1.0×10-4 mol L-1. The sampling rate for this method was about 30 samples h-1.
