Assessing the Alignment Between IT Startegies and Markazi Province Police Center according to the Luftman Model

Nowadays huge investments on IT (Information Technology) aspects e.g. practical systems and infrastructures are being taken all in order to address organizations’ issues. Such attempts would be made mostly in relation to the discordance between the technology and practical scenarios by use of known models. In this study, firstly barriers of the alignment between Markazi province police center and IT methods were surveyed, therefore components of IT and buiseness regions and alignment views were determined using the venkatraman- Henderson model. Ultimately the alignments maturity level presented according to the Luftman model. IT and business’ alignment strategies were regarded in six indexes including relationships, values, authorities, cooperation, tasks’ domains and proficiencies and all six items were confirmed by the analysis.
