چکیده مقاله:

In this study heat transfer behavior of TiO2/water nanofluid in a shell and tube heat exchanger was investigatedexperimentally. The experiments were carried out under the turbulent flow condition. The heat transfer characteristicsof nanofluid were measured for a wide range of nanoparticle volume concentrations and Peclet numbers. Results showthat adding naoparticles into the base fluid causes the significant enhancement of heat transfer characteristics. There isan optimum nanoparticle concentration for TiO2/water nanofluid in which the nanofluid possesses the best heat transfer behavior.
