A Supply chain optimization model and queuing theory

Today supply chains are challenged with various consumer and customer demands in an uncertain environment with probabilistic condition.This paper tries to highlight the importance of delay time in a three-level supply chain with the goal of minimizing the total supply chain service cost. Writer represented an integer programming model for a specific model of supply chain, and could solved with heuristic method such as genetic algorithm. This paper deals with two models that used a fix quantity in first model and then modeled a new function that emphasized the delay time with using exponential distribution and queuing theory.
