Stadium factors and contribution to spectators regular attendance: Case study of Isfahan s Fuladshahr stadium

Background: The present study was conducted to examine the stadium factors (Sports cape) and their role in spectators regular attendance of in football stadiums. Materials and methods: Using case study approach, a sample population of 132 spectators who have participated in the first match league between Foulad Mobarakeh Sepahan FC andZobahan Esfahan FC were investigated. Participants completed two researcher-made unstructured questionnaires that collected data on stadium factors and factors contributing to spectators future attendance. The validity and reliability of questionnaires were determined by sports marketing professionals and confirmed by Cronbach s alpha, as being 0.87 and 0.83, respectively. Research data was analyzed by Pearson s correlation coefficient and multiple regressions. Results and discussions: Results indicated that there was a positive and significant relationship between all stadium factors and spectator s regular future attendance in α=0.05 level. Conclusion: Results also indicated that the aesthetic features of the stadium and parking space significantly predicted the spectators regular future attendance in the stadium
