Sports Entrepreneurship Training Opportunities for Sports Sciences Students Studying in Arak City Universities

The current study aimed at investigating the sports entrepreneurship training opportunities sports sciences faculties of Arak City’s universities. The current study is an applied descriptive study. The statistical population of the study included all of the university lecturers and graduate, post-graduate, and Ph.D. students of physical education major in the state, Azad, and Payam-e Noor universities in Arak City (N=850). From among this population, 264 students were chosen as the samples by random sampling using the Krejcie & Morgan table. The data collection was done through interview and a researcher-made questionnaire including 7 questions measured in Likert scale. The calculated coefficient of reliability by alpha-Cronbach was 85% which was an acceptable number. The collected data were tested and analyzed by Kaiser Test, Bartlett test, factor analysis, ranking the entrepreneurship factors, and SPSS 19. The obtained results indicated that the most important sports entrepreneurship training opportunities are the availability of physical education experts and specialists, high level of sports science and technology in the city, and development of information and communication technology. According to the results of the study, detection of the infrastructure opportunities of entrepreneurship training in Arak City’s sports paves the way for entrepreneurs and graduates of the sports sciences.
