چکیده مقاله:

The characteristics of low-frequency shocks in amagnetized dusty plasma comprising of negatively chargeddust fluid, kappa-distributed electrons and ions have beeninvestigated. Using the reductive perturbation method, thenonlinear Korteweg de–Vries–Burgers (KdV–B) equationwhich governs the dynamics of the dust acoustic (DA)shock waves is derived. The characteristics of shockstructures are studied under the influence of various plasmaparameters, viz. superthermality of ions, magnetic field,electron-to-dust-density ratio, kinematic viscosity, ion-toelectron-temperature ratio and obliqueness. The combinedeffects of these physical parameters significantly influencethe characteristics of DA shock structures. It is observedthat only negative potential shocks exist in a plasmaenvironment comprising of dust fluid and superthermalelectrons and ions such as that of Saturn’s magnetosphere.
