Agglomerating technological capabilities with an emphasis on increasing the capacity of technology absorption andtechnological learning, case study, oil industry in Saudi Arabia

Oil industry is one of the most valuable industries of the world which intensively depends on technology.Considering the higher importance of this industry in our country, and worldwide intensification of the industry, payattention to this industry is necessary. Saudi Arabia, as one of the most serious competitors of Iran, has takenimportant step in the route of oil technology development and is moving toward international andtransnationalmarkets. In this way, studying trend of development of competitors in the field of technology for planning andstrategy formulation for future could be useful.
