چکیده مقاله:

New complexes of platinum(II) containing phosphine ligand were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR UV/Vis, elemental analysis and conductometry. In synthesized complexes, the ligand was coordinated to the metal center via phosphorous donor atoms. The interaction of these complexes with DNA was investigated by UV-Vis spectroscopy in order to calculation of binding constants (Kb). The results revealed hypochromism effects which generally indicate the intercalative binding nature of the interaction. Viscosity measurements were used to further elucidate the nature of the interactions between the complexes and DNA. Moreover, thermodynamic of these interactions were studied and thermodynamic parameters containing ΔG, ΔH and ΔS were calculated.
