Acetaminophen is a drug , with harmful effects on liver. increasing level of liver enzymes in serum ,suppressing which nowadays mostly used for patients who suf Neuroaid is a neuroprotective drug .synthesis of glutathionee fering from stroke or brain injury. Some researches proved that it can be effective on recovery of liver function. In this study, first of all the effects of toxic doses of acetaminophen on liver enzymes were investigated then proceed the effect of neuroaid on enzyme changes afterward applying toxic doses of acetaminophen in limited time. Two groups of male rats within 220-250 g weight range were investigated. The value of ALT, AST, ALP were evaluated using biochemical kits and Auto-analyzer systems in serum of both group. Both groups receive a toxic doses of acetaminophen 1g/kg. 48 hours after receiving acetaminophen the level of enzymes was evaluated again, in the condition that second group received neuroaid 1mg/kg 6 hours and 24 hours after receiving toxic doses of acetaminophen ,but neuroaid treatment did not use for the first group. After 48 hours first test group receiving toxic doses of acetaminophen shows increase in ALT, AST , ALP levels. In the second group increase in ALP,ALT levels was observed but AST level show no considerable changes .Therefore it can be concluded that neuroaid can prevent increasing AST level after receiving toxic doses of acetaminophen ,but according to our .investigate it has no significant effect on ALT,ALP
