چکیده مقاله:

In borings of urban railways tunnels with TBM, when boring machine enters the stations which are underground water level, it causes problems. One of the most important of these problems is seepage of underground water with high discharge from shield of boring machine to the station, which, if not controlled properly, water will enter to the station quickly. Garamalek station is the first station of line 2 of Tabriz urban railway. Water table level is at 7 meters from the station bed level, and if the water is not controlled in entrance of boring machine, water with high discharge will seepage to the station. In this condition using of concrete wall with presented dimensions and injecting mastic for water proofing and preventing of groundwater into the entrance tampon, are suitable ways for preventing of water from entering to station when boring machine enter to the station. Several methods can be presented. The solution presented in this study is both cost-effective and time-consuming.
