چکیده مقاله:
Objective: This study was conducted to survey of metazoan parasitic infection and abnormality of Capoeta capoeta gracilis, 100 specimens were collected by electrical fishing in Zarrin-Gol stream, Golestan Province, during October 2007. Two parasitic species, including Rhabdocona dentudata, Posthodiplostomum cuticola, and vein lamellar aneurysm in gills were observed. Prevalence, intensity, and frequency of the parasitic infection with P. cuticola were decreased with increasing of fish age, but with R. dentudata were increased, significantly. Furthermore, gill vein lamellar aneurysm was observed in some specimens.
Method & Materials: This study was conducted in October 2007 in Zarrin-Gol Stream, Golestan Province, Iran (longitude 37"".57 and latitide 36"".52). A hundred Capoeta capoeta gracilis were sampled. Fish were collected by electrofishing (1.7 Kw, 200-300V). Fish samples fixed in 10% formalin and later transferred to 7% ethanol. All species were deposited in the sampling flask than transported to the laboratory of Faculty Environment and Fishery in Gorgan University. In this study, macroscopic parasites and alimentary canal and abdomen have investigated. Parasites were identified according to identification key. Statistical methods were used to compare abundance of parasite.
Results & Conclusion: Results showed that parasites prevalence decrease in older age. Average parasites (Rhabdocona dentudata) abundance nonsignificantly decreased in older age. Parasites number (Rhabdocona dentudata) in various positions investigated and showed that parasites value were on skin higher than gill and dorsal, anal, pelvic fin. In this study, for first time lamellar aneurysm was reported in Capoeta capoeta gracilis in Zarrin-Gol Stream.
