چکیده مقاله:

Objective: Blood is the first and most sensitive living tissue in animals which is influenced by environmental and physiological conditions. Any changes in tissues caused by environmental and pathogenic factors are reflected in the blood and can be detected in the hematological indices under study. The present study which was carried out for a period of three years was designed to have an understanding of the hematological indices in sturgeon spawners that are caught and transported to sturgeon hatcheries. Method & Materials: During 2006 through 2008 (3 years), 28 males and females Acipenser persicus breeders with 25 ± 6.4 kg weight that were captured from the south coastal of Caspian Sea, were selected and bled in propagation time in order to measuring hematological factors such as RBC, WBC, Hb, HCT, differential count, MCH, MCV and MCHC. Results & Conclusion: Statistical analysis showed that the amount of hemoglobin was more in females than males and decreased during 3 years, so that in 2008 was lower significantly than 2007 and 2008 years. Differential cell count results showed that Neutrophil in males and females during three years were decreased, but Eosinophil was increased. Lymphocytes in females increased during three years and there was significant difference among different years. Therefore, hematological indices can be used to evaluating of hygienic and healthy conditions in propagation and rearing complex of brood stocks.
