چکیده مقاله:

In first step, Ni@Pt/C catalyst was prepared using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as structure directing. The effect of Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) preparation method using catalyst coated membrane (CCM) method and catalyst coated gas diffusion layer (CCG) method on the performance of direct borohydride-hydrogen peroxide was studied. The results show that MEA prepared with CCM method has higher power density (68.64 mW cm-2) in comparison with CCG method (44.23 mW cm-2). In second step the effect of Ni@Pt/C preparation method was investigated. For this purpose Ni@Pt/C was synthesized with SDS and without SDS. The metal loading in synthesized nanocatalysts is 20 wt% and the molar ratio of Ni: Pt is 1:1. The structural characterizations of Ni@Pt/C electrocatalysts were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM). The results of three electrode and single fuel cell studies show that the catalyst synthesized without SDS has superior catalytic activity (22016.92 A.gPt-1) for borohydride oxidation and increased power density (133.38 mWcm-2) in DBHFC in comparison with Ni@Pt/C synthesized with SDS.
