USING OF SURFACTANTS FOR CLAY NANO-PARTICLES MODIFICATION IN POLYMERIC COATINGS- A REVIEW

Clay nano-particles are widely used in various application based on their especial properties; polymer clay nano composites is one types of their common performance. Mostly surfactants are carried out in order to modify surfaces of the clay nano-particles for better dispersion. Numerous researches were done on investigation the properties of modified clay nano composites. This paper focuses on several investigations which represent different surfactant applications on behalf of their types, mechanisms and final properties.
