Designing a local clinic in Kish Island with the approach to Healing Gardens

The present study aims to define a local clinic integrated with the nature of the area and taken advantage of landscapes and the beach in Kish Island with the approach to healing gardens; explaining and exploring treatment process of patients and principles of healing gardens, the approach attempts to apply those principles in designing a clinic. In this study, it is assumed that emphasis on environmental design and integration of natural and artificial environments in healthcare centers can lead to a better treatment and improvement. The research methodology is generally based on qualitative study and collection of experimental data. The data are gathered via library and field research into Persian and English papers, books and theses. Moreover, the study utilizes analyses and observations of relevant existing examples.
