In this research, a one dimensional heterogeneous model to analyze the performance of coupling of hydrogen redistribution strategies along the fixed-bed Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) reactors using a Pd-Ag membrane which is combined with an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) over La2O3/CaO catalyst in fixed bed reactor has been carried out. The new theory, the natural gas is converted to heavy hydrocarbons in two reactors. The OCM reactor is primary and produced synthesis gas for second reactor which is FT and it converted to heavy hydrocarbons. Hydrogen redistribution has been proposed to solve some observed drawbacks of industrial fixed-bed reactors such as high pressure drop, heat transfer problem and internal mass transfer limitations. The parameters studied were methane to oxygen (CH4/O2) ratio, temperature, and dilution effect of N2 in the feed. If CH4/O2 ratio raised it is desired for FT reaction. The effect of inert N2 gas in feed put low effect to the yield. An enhancement in the gasoline yield along the membrane reactor can be seen.
