Mapping from WS-BPEL to Petri Nets for evaluation of non-functional parameters

Web service is an application which provides the possibility to exchange data and have interaction and cooperation among different parts in a distributed environment. The objective of integrating web services is to meet the requirements of a special need and create a new capability. In this research, the official concepts for integrating complex web services which were set up by BPEL standard will be presented. Stochastic Petri Nets (SPN) was studied, and Non-Markov Stochastic Petri Nets (NMSPN) and Deterministic Stochastic Petri Nets (NMSPN) were used for modeling each web service. Afterwards, the model is analyzed by using Markov Regenerative Process (MRGP) to assess its performance
