Consideration of Urban Design's status in development of democracy indexes

As skeletal and cultural parallelism of traditional city was breaking down by industrial revolution and by various thoughts and powers of world, contemporary city had to applymanagerial thoughts based on its governing worldview to organize its non-organic status. Democracy as one of the most sensible contemporary social tendency, affect the city such like a behavioral model. Public spaces as medium rings between social environment and skeletalenvironment are democracy's objective manifest in adjustment of relationship among person, society and government. Understanding about which urbanism processes results in urban space production and which one suppresses it, is clue to specify urban design status as a qualitativeand popular approach. Therefore, by consideration of four agents meaning policy making, urban planning, urban design and architecture as hierarchy of involved levels in producing of manmade space, we survey effect range of each in making a democratic collective space and compare the effect of each role prioritizing on collective space quality which reflects the distinctive role of urban design in production and genesis of public environment
